Policy: ODHFS Classified Ads

The following policy would be placed on our website and printed in at least one upcoming copy of the Torchbearer:

Policy for Current ODHFS Members

Unlimited access to For Sale and Wanted areas of Classified Section of website provided that ad was complete as to what is being sold, included a picture(s), and price.

Ad would run for a period of 90 days at which time it could be “renewed” at request of member for a period of 90 days.

Policy for Non Members of ODHFS

Items for the For Sale and Wanted areas of the website would be open to non members under the following circumstances:

• Item(s) being offered is an Oren rig or parts for an Oren rig.
   
• Rig(s) being offered for sale has spent its entire service life in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
   
• Item is being offered by a fire department, either career or volunteer, within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Under no circumstances will an item be placed in the Classified Section from a commercial or private vendor who has multiple rigs or items for sale such as from an individually owned and maintained website.  Consideration may be given to a private vendor who has an ex-Virginia rig or parts for sale.
