I hope everyone had a great Fourth of July. We had a great showing at the Brandermill Community parade with 9 apparatus participating.

Up-coming events in the Central Region that are on the ODHFS website calendar include:

• 7/27/19 Static Display at Crump Manor Nursing Home, Mountain RD, Glen Allen. The facility would like one or two antiques on display during their anniversary ceremony 10 AM - 2 PM. If you can assist contact Vicki McSparren at 804-672-8725.

• 8/3/19 Southern Knights Cruisers Veterans Car,Bike, & Truck Show. Richard Bland College. 8 AM - 4 PM More information at: www.SouthernKnightsCruisers.com

• 9/2/14 Powhatan Labor Day Parade Line up at Powhatan Company 1 @ 9:30 AM Parade @ 10:30 AM. If you planning on participating as a part of ODHFS please contact me by email at FloydPowhatan@gmail.com or 804-347-9016 NO LATER THAN 8/24. I've had two members commit to attending this so I will be sending in the application and fee this week.

• 9/11/19 9-11 Ceremony at Mission BBQ in Midlothian. They have asked for antique apparatus to be on display during this event. More information will be included in the August newsletter.

• 9/14/19 Be Like Mike Benefit Car Show 2693 Rocky Oak RD Powhatan VA. 9 AM - 4 PM. 50 Awards Presented. Entry fee $50. Spectators Free. More Information call: Wes 804-300-4507

• 9/28/19 ODHFS Annual Muster Farmville, VA More Information about the specifics of the Muster will be out soon. The automated registration link to sign up both apparatus and members/guests is available at www.odhfs.org/custom.html?id=24099 .
